BURNED HER WARDROBE.

Sarah Slater, who sells trinkets down town, has burned her clothing. Sarah was sent to the laundry in the workhouse yesterday to wash her garments and other clothing that was washable. The matron accompanied her to the laundry and set her to work, but no sooner had the matron turned her back before Sarah shot her entire wardrobe into the stove, where it was destroyed.

Now the question is, what will Sarah do when her time expires and the workhouse uniform is taken from her.
