MILLERS OPEN CONVENTION.

Mayor Haynes Welcomes Flour Men of the Country.

The national convention of the flour millers of the country were formally opened in Minneapolis yesterday with 400 delegates in attendance. Mayor James C. Haynes told the visitors that the city was in their hands and that Minneapolis bid them a warm welcome. President G. H. Lewis spoke and the report of secretary Mueller was received, which showed that the association has been active during the past year, growing in numbers beyond expectations. At the West hotel last evening a band concert was followed by a banquet and ball. The millers will get down to real work to-day.
