The All-Compelling Power of Christian Science Employed to Tune a Piano - A Genuine Experience.

During a recent experience meeting at the First Church of Christ, Scientist, a member of the congregation related a most remarkable story illustrating the efficiency of the Christian Science belief. Her family, she said, had been away from home for about four months. On their return one of the daughters went to the piano, opened it and started to play. The instrument, however, was found to be badly out of tune, and it was agreed that the first person who went down town was to send up a piano tuner.

Later the thought came to someone that God was harmony and that music was harmony, and a piano tuner was decided to be unnecessary. The instrument was closed again and at intervals, during the next two weeks, various members of the family gathered in the parlor to affirm "God is harmony; music is harmony. God is harmony; music is harmony."

At the expiration of two weeks the instrument was again opened and once more the daughter sat down to play. The piano was found to be in perfect tune and has remained so ever since.
