Committed to Rochester.

Charles Helson, aged forty-four years, and the head of a family, was yesterday, on order of Judge Willrich in the probate court, sent to the insane asylum at Rochester. Deputy Sheriff Picha arrested him the night before, finding Helson armed with a revolver and an iron bar. Helson formerly served in the British and United States armies, and in 1892 was an inmate of an insane asylum. Ever since his release he has been subject to recurring attacks of insanity. He came to St. Paul from Rice Lake.
