LIGHTS OFF; BILL $271.

S. S. Club Secretary Fails to Take Kindly to Electric Expense.

"That light off, if you please."

Since the arrival of last month's electric bill yesterday Henry E. Brown, secretary of the Soldiers and Sailors' club, points an accusing finger, emphasized by the previous statement, at every one connected with the "off and on" system at the club.

With the arrival of the postman Mr. Brown was heard spluttering "outrageous" and similar ejaculations.

The bill was $271 and some cents.
